I was fortunate enough to cap off a great day of music with a late night set at Mr. Ed's infamous Tiki Bar" Joined by fellow musicians "Jimmy & The Parrots", Tom & Michele Becker of Lattitiude, Rabbit singing "El Paso" and The Tiki Bar Dancers Justin & Heather!

Saturday Afternoon Party At The Skyway

Left to Right: 1.Jim Hoehn kicked things off with his usual blend of humorous songs and stories. 2.Tom & Michelle Becker aka 'Lattitude' performed their entertaining mix of favorites and originals...I can see why people just can't get enough of them....and there's Justin again...shakin' it to another Island favorite. 3. Parrotheads doing what they do best...enjoying some great food...drinks...and music! 4. Lovely Deanne Farthing from Indy...she owes me a dance. 5. Two of my favorite couples, the Guerrero's from Texas and the Wong's from Pittsburgh, people like these are what make these events so special... 5. What would I do without my most loyal fans Brad & Marcia....sister & brother-in-law... Although it was a hot day at the Skyway....everyone had a great time!

Saturday Night at The Boardwalk

After a hard days work it was time to get out and enjoy some of the other acts playing for the phlocking.. 'Phins' a great band from St. Louis played at The Put-In-Bay Brewery, 'Jimmy and the Parrots' from Jersey.. were rockin' Mr. Ed's and Jay, Charlie & Miguel "The Junkanoo Brothers" were performing at The Boardwalk....where we all seemed to meet up eventually. Joining The Junkanoos, and Tom & Michelle on stage for a laid back version of Margaritaville was alot of fun....and yes ...not only was Justin there but I got his autograph!

Sunday Songwriter's Brunch at Mr. Ed's

After 3-4 days of partying it's time for a bloody mary and some great original tunes. The songwriter's brunch in only it's second year has quickly become one of the favorite phlocking events. This year was no exception with a great group of musicians....a great crowd...and some special appearances by a couple of Put-In-Bay legends, Mike "Mad Dog" Adams stopped by to have some lunch and listen to some tunes before heading to The Round House for his afternoon set (a must see if you're ever on the island) and Ray Fogg surprised us all by performing a few of his original tunes...the one's he can actually play in public (Ray performs a great show at The Put-In-Bay Brewery that is also a must see...not for the faint of heart...Ray is the master of Dirty Songs).

Early Saturday Evening Poolside at the new Put-In-Bay Resort. I was once again joined by Tom & Michele Becker as well as Justin and his shaker. Thanks to those of you who braved the 90+ degree temps to hang out with me !
